Baker’s One Bowl Brownies

Ingredients

4 squares Baker’s unsweetened chocolate 1 12 butter sticks (34 c) 2 cups sugar 1 tsp vanilla 3 eggs 1 cup flour 12 chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, heat chocolate and butter in a microwave for 2 minutes on HIGH. Mix until all butter and chocolate is melted. Add sugar, vanilla and eggs Mix until dissolved. Stir in flour and continue to mix until smooth. In a 13x9 baking pan, spray with cooking oil. Pour in brownie batter and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

Cream Cheese Brownies:

Prepare batter as directed, 4 eggs; spread into prepared pan. Beat 1 pkg (8oz) softened cream cheese, 13 c sugar, 1 egg and 2 Tbsp flour until well blended, drop by spoonfuls evenly over brownie batter. Swirl with butter knife several times to marbleize. Bake as directed, but increase to 40 minutes. Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies: Prepare batter as directed, reserving 1 Tbsp of the butter and 2 Tbsp of the sugar. Spread batter into prepared pan. Melt reserved butter. Add to reserved sugar along with 23 peanut butter; mix wel. Spoon over batter in pan. Swirl with butter knife several times to marbleize. Bake as directed.
