Hamburger Soup

  1. Fry all ingredients together drain well.
  2. Add 3 bay leaves, clove garlic, 2 tsp Italian seasoning, ½ tsp thyme, T of sugar (more or less to taste)
  3. Add 1 can (16oz) of diced tomatoes (I use the seasoned kind) juice and all!
  4. Using the tom. can, add 4-5 cans full of water.
  5. Bring to a boil and turn back to simmer.
  6. Simmer for 1-2 hours (you know, the longer it sits….blah, blah)
  7. Right before serving, bring to a boil and add your noodles (I use the thin egg noodles). Cook until tender, serve.

Great with homemade French bread!
