Pizza Dough

For a crisper crust use bread flour, for a softer crust use all purpose flour.

  1. Combine the bread flour, sugar, yeast and kosher salt mixer bowl.
  2. While the mixer is running, add the water and 2 tablespoons of the oil
  3. Beat until the dough forms into a ball. If the dough is sticky, slowly add  flour ntil the dough comes together in a solid ball. If the dough is too dry, add additional water, 1 tablespoon at a time.
  4. Remove from bowl and gently knead into a smooth, firm ball.
  5. Add dough ball to large greased bowl with olive oil.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap.
  7. Let it set in warm place until double in size, about 1 hour.
  8. On a lightly floured surface and divide it into 2 equal pieces.
  9. Cover each with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let them rest for 10 minutes.
  10. Roll out in odd shape pizza.
