Tuscany Soup

  1. Cook sausage.
  2. Place water, chicken base, and whipping cream, in crock pot and turn on high.  
  3. Cut potatoes in half lengthwise (do not remove skins), then cut at an angle into 14 inch slices and place into crock pot.  
  4. Place onions and bacon in a large saucepan and cook over medium heat until onions are almost clear.  
  5. Add garlic and cook an additional 1 minute.  
  6. Add sausage mixture to soup.  
  7. Cook until potatoes are tender.  
  8. Place kale in soup 10 minutes before serving.
